Guide Lovable

Lovable security audit options and prices (Oct 2026)

You built an app on Lovable or Bolt, it runs on Supabase, and now you're wondering: is it safe to launch? Could a stranger read my users' data, or find a key that lets them run up my bill?

There are a few ways to get an answer. Some are free and you can do them yourself in a few minutes. Others are paid: some are deeper automated scans, some have a person look at your app, and some also fix what they find. This page lists the options we found that publicly offer this for Lovable, Bolt or Supabase apps, with each price exactly as the provider's page showed it the day we checked.

We run one of these services (PatchAndShip), so we've tried hard to be fair. Every price and description below is quoted from or based only on the provider's own page, with a link. We haven't used the other services ourselves and we don't rate them. If a page changes, the page wins.

Lovable built-in security scan

What it is: Lovable can scan your project for common security problems, right inside the editor.

Price, as shown: Lovable's docs say: "Both scans are free and do not consume credits." Fixes: "Fix actions draw from your account's 10 free fixes… further fixes… consume credits." docs.lovable.dev/features/security-view, checked Oct 15, 2026.

What's included (in Lovable's words):

  • Quick scan: "Checks your code and your live database configuration for common security issues and known misconfigurations, and runs automatically on every publish." It "runs a fixed set of checks in seconds."
  • Deep scan: "Reviews all your code for issues specific to your app's logic, permissions, and data." It takes "usually 3 to 13 minutes and at most 15."

What it does well: It's already there, it runs on every publish, and the quick scan takes seconds.

Keep in mind (also from Lovable's docs): "Automated scans help catch common issues, but they cannot guarantee complete security. For apps handling sensitive data or critical functionality, consider an additional professional security review." And a clean result "means the last scan did not surface any issues, but the scanner cannot catch every possible risk."

Supabase Security Advisor

What it is: A set of automatic checks built into Supabase that flags risky settings in your database. For example, a table anyone can read, change or delete (Row Level Security turned off).

Price, as shown: Price not listed. It ships with Supabase. supabase.com/docs/guides/database/database-advisors, checked Oct 15, 2026.

What's included (in Supabase's words): "Advisors are deterministic checks that ship with the platform. They flag health, security, and performance issues in your project, such as elevated error rates, misconfigured RLS policies, or missing indexes." You can open it in your Supabase dashboard as the Security Advisor.

What it does well (per Supabase's docs): It's built in ("deterministic checks that ship with the platform"), and you can run it from the Supabase dashboard (Studio), the CLI, MCP or the Management API.

Keep in mind: It tells you what's wrong. You make the changes. Supabase also says: "Some findings may be intentional, so check them against your intended schema and access model before you change anything."

PatchAndShip free check

What it is: A free look at what your public site already shows to every visitor. Our site offers it two ways: an instant checker you run yourself (result on screen in seconds), and a free mini check we run and email to you (a one-page summary within 24 hours).

Price, as shown: Free. patchandship.com/check.html (instant checker) and patchandship.com/#free-check (free mini check), checked Oct 15, 2026.

What's included (in our site's words):

  • Free mini check (emailed), on the homepage: "A passive check of your public homepage, its scripts and its security headers, and nothing else: we look for exposed secret keys, missing headers and public storage links found in the code (the bucket itself is never opened or listed). No database queries, no logins, no changes. One page, within 24 hours. Owners only."
  • Instant checker, on the check page: "Paste your app's URL. In a few seconds we check what every visitor's browser already receives: your homepage, its JavaScript and its security headers. No signup."

What it does well: It can spot a secret key sitting in your public code, and the check page answers in seconds.

Keep in mind: It doesn't look inside your database, so it can't tell you whether your users' data is readable by strangers (Row Level Security). For that, start with the Supabase Security Advisor above. It flags tables with Row Level Security turned off that signed-out or signed-in users can read. Or use one of the services below that test access rules.

How to choose

You want to check it yourself first. Start with the free options: run the Lovable security scan, then open the Security Advisor in your Supabase dashboard. A free outside scanner or our free check can also show what your public site exposes. If they flag something you don't understand, that's a good moment to get help.

You need a written report to show someone (investors, a client or a compliance questionnaire). Look at the options that list a written report: Fortivibe, Lovable 2 Live, Tempore and Vibe Audit. Check whether the report covers what that person is asking for. None of the options here say they are a penetration test or a compliance certification.

You want it fixed, not just found. Look at the options that list fixes being applied for you: Lovable 2 Live (audit + fixes), PatchAndShip, the Tempore fix package and the Vibe Audit Done-For-You Fix. Compare what each one says counts as done, and what you still have to do yourself, like replacing keys.

You want an answer in minutes. Automated scans (Lovable's scan, Supabase Security Advisor, Vibeproof) answer in seconds or minutes. Lovable's own docs suggest an additional professional review for apps handling sensitive data.

You want to pick a specific person. A freelancer on a marketplace lets you choose who does the work and agree on the scope. Remember the platform fee on top of their price.

Prices and details checked on each provider's own page on Oct 15, 2026. Prices change, so always check the provider's page before you buy. We don't use or rate the other services. If you run one of them and something here is wrong or out of date, email patchandship@gmail.com and we'll correct it.
