1. Who we are
This policy covers PatchAndShip, based in California, USA. Privacy questions: patchandship@gmail.com.
This policy covers our website, the free mini check, and the work we do on customers' apps.
2. What we collect and why
- Order and contact details you give us, so we can deliver your order and talk to you about it.
- Payment details, which are handled by Stripe, so we can take payment, issue refunds and keep tax records.
- Project data: the app, code and systems you give us access to, so we can check and fix them.
- Mini-check requests: the details you submit, so we can run the check and email you the results.
3. Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run PatchAndShip:
- Vercel: website hosting
- Stripe: payments
- Resend: email
- AI model providers: analysis of your project
AI-assisted work
We use AI-assisted coding tools to help review and fix your app, and a human reviews every change before it is applied. We do not use your code to train models, and we share your code only as needed to deliver the work you ordered. We never ask for passwords. If we need an access token, we ask you to send it as a one-time Bitwarden Send link, which is deleted after use.
4. Cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
5. Email
If you request a free mini check, we send you the results email only. We send you marketing email only if you opt in.
6. How long we keep it
- We revoke our access to your systems when we hand the work back to you.
- Your project data is deleted within 30 days after delivery.
- Invoices are kept for 7 years, as required by tax law.
7. Age
Our services are for people aged 18 and over.
